SEZ strengthens relations with Indonesia
The management company continues its work at the INNOPROM international exhibition.
Andrey Ivanov, Deputy General Director for Investor Relations at the SEZ, took part in the panel session "Dialogue between Russian and Indonesian SEZs: Synchronizing Regulation and Building International Industrial Clusters," organized by the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks, and SEZs of Russia.
Indonesia is a partner country for this year's exhibition. It is home to 25 SEZs and approximately 80 industrial parks.
Special economic zones are a clear international development tool that can be used to effectively build relationships with friendly countries in terms of launching numerous services for investors.
One of these areas is the creation of clusters among SEZ residents.
"We are reaching a qualitatively new level of exploring the possibility of cooperation between investors and are seeing initial results – companies from our two different sites are finding common ground, for example, one company will supply equipment to another resident. This work will continue, as these are internal resources that must be utilized to improve overall efficiency," Andrey Ivanov shared his experience.
We thank the discussion organizers for the invitation and look forward to welcoming representatives from Indonesian industrial parks.
